Here are comments from students who filled out a comment slip after my talks. Please enjoy the comments, questions, and answers.  I want to thank all of those who filled out a comment slip.  Your enthusiasm and excitement for this book is greatly appreciated.

Werner Elementary - 2013

4th & 5th Grade Gifted & Talented

Fort Collins, Colorado

(I wrote the comments as they actually appeared on the slips.)

“I am very excited to read this book. It sounds like it is full of action, and it sounds like my kind of book. I can’t wait to read it and I hope you will continue with a 2nd series.”

-Josi B.

“The book sounds interesting and I will definitely read it in the future.  I also think the Prezi was understanding and taught us some things we do not know.”

-Sarah C.

“I love the idea of the series!  Please come back again.”

-Tim S.

“This book sounds AWESOME!  It’s really cool to meet and author.”

“Liked your Prezi.  Can’t wait to read your book.  How long would it take to create and publish the book?”

-Faith M.

(The first book took four years to write, and I spent three years trying to find an agent.  I decided to self publish it and it only took me a few months to finalize, format, and upload.)

“I’m looking forward to read your book.  You did a great presentation.”

-Ember R.

I really learned a lot today!  Your presentation made me think more about becoming an author.  It might be something I want to do someday.  I can’t wait to read your book.  Thank You!”

-Ellianna D.

“Cool Prezi.  One of the things he has to collect should be a ring with powers.”

-Macy K.

(Macy, that sounds like a good idea.  I may have something like this planned as a sequel to the series.)

“This book sounds amazing.  I will read it.”

-Luke E.

“I really enjoyed your presentation about the elements and can’t wait to read your book.”

-Aspen W.

“I really want to read the book! Do you write any little kids books?”

-Evan G.

(Not yet Evan.  But I have a few ideas floating in my head.)

“Really suspenseful from what I’ve heard.  Very good idea that allows you to continue with lots of sequels.”

-Grace M.

“I am really looking forward to reading your book.

“Can I have an autographed mug and mouse pad?”

-Sebastian M.

“I really want to read the whole entire series on my Kindle!”

-Elliana N.

“I liked how you did the Prezi project on a map. It was cool how setting was on a volcanoe.”

-Kaylee B.

(Kaylee, you are the first one to mention that.  I did that on pupose.  Very perceptive of you to catch that in my Prezi.)

"I really want to read this book!”

-Cody G.

“This series sounds great!!!”

-Ethan L.

“Thank you so much!  I adored your presentation.  I can’t wait to read your book.”

-Taylor M.

-Jessica M.

(Maybe I will come back and talk about that.)

“I really liked how he went into more detail than was on the Prezi.  I want to learn how to publish a book.”

-Molly K.

(Maybe I will come back and talk about that too.)

“Great Presentation!  I want to read your books.”

-Lauren Z.

“Prezi was very well organized.  Can’t wait to read the book.”

-Jack P.

“I learned a lot about the process of creating the story.”

-Ayden S.
